PreK 3s Summer

SEEC alumni families (and friends) join SEEC’s preschool three-year-old classes for the summer! Children born between September 2021 and August 2022 are invited to experience the wonders of the Smithsonian Museums and the National Mall with SEEC’s current Prek 3 classrooms. 

While we do not require registration for a FULL summer, families must register for at least 4 consecutive weeks.

Current SEEC 3s Families: Please note that you do not need to sign up for this summer session. This is a different model from our summer camp for kindergarteners where current SEEC families sign up for sessions.

Deposit: A $100 deposit is due at the time of registration via etix. The deposit will be applied to the first tuition payment and is non-refundable. 

Tuition Rates:  

Tuition for our PreK 3s Summer is $600/week for SEEC Alum/SI Families and $650/week for Non-SI Families. Tuition will be paid bi-monthly ($1200 or $1300) via automatic debit.  

Tuition Debit Dates:  

  • Friday, June 5  
  • Friday, June 19  
  • Friday, July 5  
  • Friday, July 17  
  • Friday, July 31  

*Families need to register for a minimum of 4 consecutive weeks. 

**If your child starts in the middle of a tuition cycle, you will be responsible for submitting a check for the pro-rated tuition amount. 

PreK 3 Summer Logistics 

Ages: 

SEEC’s PreK 3 Summer is for children born between September 2021 and August 2022. 

Hours:  

7:30 am – 6:00 pm, with a maximum of 9.5 hours per day. We ask that you let us know your anticipated daily schedule (e.g. 8:00 am – 4:30 pm) so that we may properly staff the center.  

Lunch:  

Lunch will be provided Monday – Friday.  

Splash Day: 

One day a week children will play in the sprinklers on the playground. Children will need to wear, or bring, a swimsuit, towel, extra change of clothes, water shoes, and a plastic bag to send wet clothes home in.  

Paperwork:  

All paperwork including a current health and dental form (signed by your physician/dentist and dated after August 21, 2025) must be submitted to SEEC by the morning of the first day of camp.  Children without current health & dental forms may not attend the program until they are completed and submitted.  Paperwork will be sent in late spring and accepted anytime in May or June.
