SEEC’s Professional Development Options
ANSWERING CHILDREN’S CRITICAL QUESTIONS IN A TRANSFORMING WORLD
Young children are well known for asking a multitude of questions and in a world filled with disruption, it can be difficult for adults to answer them. We strive to understand exactly what children are asking and work together with children in thoughtful, age-appropriate ways that allow children to create answers and be empowered to create change. To explore young children’s critical questions, SEEC uses objects that are both familiar and unfamiliar to children. Through these experiences children create connections and discover the similarities and differences that exist in all of us.

“SEEC’s learning through objects course opened my mind and eyes to consider practical elements of classroom pedagogy and implementation of creative ideas. The methods they discuss and way the information is presented is very real-world and applicable in many different kinds of learning environments. While SEEC is unique in many ways, adaptations can be made to apply their work in a variety of educational settings.”
